Carolyn Tate is a seasoned marketer with over 20 years experience working in the industry. Disenfranchised with the way marketing had evolved, Carolyn set out to build a new business, seeking to change the marketing paradigm and spark a conscious marketing revolution.
To help launch her new business, we partnered with Carolyn on the brand strategy and visual identity of Carolyn Tate & Co. The core of the strategy we developed was centred around the idea that this movement is bigger than one person.
Carolyn Tate & Co. is about people uniting, connecting, collaborating and forming communities around these new ideas.
From this concept we explored the idea of the ampersand representing conjunction, developing a custom ampersand as the centrepiece of the brandmark. To create a strong identity for the brand we developed a visual language consisting of a bold colour palette, illustration style, photographic style and a distinct typographic treatment.
