Headquartered in Seattle, SNUPI Technologies is using the latest advancements in sensor and low-energy technology to revolutionize the way people monitor the health of their homes. Their first consumer product, Wally, is a discreet sensor system that detects and alerts homeowners via their mobile device to water leaks and changes in temperature and humidity. The sensors boast many remarkable features, like their ability to last 10 years on the same battery.
Instead of using traditional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections, Wally uses the copper wiring in the walls of a home as an antenna—hence the name Wall–y. Character was tasked with developing a unique identity for Wally, which Character would then extend across all consumer touch points from website, mobile app, retail packaging and event fixtures.
