The aim of creative hive is to reach a national audience, not regional, which is how the decision to reposition the Bhive Academy name came about. With the name Bhive initially translating to ‘Birmingham hive’, it didn’t feel right to use a location based name on a national scale. So a more generic, creative hive was born.
The main aim for the brand design was to provide a friendly, yet professional approach, in order to attract both graduates and potential employers within the creative industry. All typography throughout the brand identity are also web fonts, this way we can maintain the same consistency through both print and digital materials.
